2024 best photos

I didn't get as many photos this year. More inner journey than camera adventure. But it was a year.

Best photos last year. In 2024 I camped more than I ever have. So sort of odd that I don't have more adventure photos. Google says I drove 15k miles, so obviously I went some places and saw some shit. But more than anything, on the road or at home, it was a year of settling in. Settling in to Oregon, a new cosmology, a new system of virtues, testing the limits of my cooking. The honeymoon was over and routine took over.

But there were adventures. The epic dash north to get the aurora, the crazy good food cooked in the woods, the all day road trips to Montana. And some inspiration for trips this year. Maybe a camping trip into Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. Extended trip to Redwoods NP. So many road trips in Canada. Or something insane like a drive to New Orleans for some proper prawns.

All this assumes the country doesn't collapse, which seems a bit likely from my perspective. Or..... perhaps I should try to fit it all in as soon as possible, while it lasts.
