Where is Jon?

While I would like to post every day, sadly I am very boring. And lazy.

Recently I decided it would be fun to level my Horde hunter in World of Warcraft. And it turned out that was way more fun that anticipated, so I've been playing WoW rather than posting. Or doing other things that might be more blog-worthy.

While it does bother me that I don't get out of the house more, I'm not really sure why. I know it's supposed to be better. But how? People usually claim it's good to be more social and interact with others. But I don't think they have any objective proof that is true. I think it's just one of those myths people keep repeating, which has no real basis in truth.

Playing WoW to the exclusion of other things has a way lower carbon footprint. So I'm literally making the world a better place by playing video games. And think of all the money I'm saving on gas, hotels, travel, entertainment, etc. Food as well. If dinner is homemade bagels along with some Cajun beans and rice, that's a pretty big budget savings over eating out.

Not to mention that my risk of death goes way up any time I drive or wander the streets. Also, Coronavirus.

I mean when you really think about it objectively, a life spent playing video games is one of the most responsible things you can do.
