Not a food Blog

I seem to be taking lots of food photos lately.

I'm continuing to resist the nagging feeling I should start a food blog. It does combine two things I like very much, cooking and photography. But at the same time it's not the sort of thing I would do if i wasn't going to monetize it. And If I do that it just all takes too much time.

Still...... It would be a nice side gig in retirement. Nah.... Actually retiring sounds like more fun.

This photo was roast chicken with sweet potatoes. Very delicious. I know some don't like sweet potatoes. But it turns out roasting them in chicken fat and garlic is a good way to go.

Also..... I saw this meme a while ago about what would your skill be in the zombie apocalypse. My skill would be boarding up the windows and staying home to play video games until it blows over. I've seen the TV shows. That looks awful. I'm not doing it. Y'all can go down covered in mud and gore on your own. I'll be riding out the apocalypse in the comfort of my office chair.

While the streets run red with blood, it will just be pretty normal over here. Don't knock on the door. Not falling for that trick. Hmmmm.... Maybe I need a power generator.
