Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV. Tower.

I love this tower photo. Part of the challenge for a Milky Way chasing photographer is finding something interesting to put in the foreground. The MW itself is fascinating, but it never changes at all. With a sunset you can stand in the same place on a dozen evenings and know you'll get a dozen different photos. But the Milky Way is like photos of my homemade pizza. Sure, 3-4 of them over the years is nice, but the 300 of them I've taken this year alone is boring and troubling.

This tower out in the desert is one of my favorites. I've thought about getting Milky Way photos here every time I've driven by it on various Salton Sea trips. I'm glad I finally got it done. Now....... I need to find another non-boring yet completely dark spot.

Also, the coming election. Yay!!! I'm sure everyone is eager for the exciting campaign run-up to the next chapter in our wonderfully functioning democracy. I personally can hardly wait for all the cream of the crop candidates to share their detailed plans for welcome challenges ahead. And their shining example as leaders to continue the ideals of truth and integrity that America has become known for in the 21st century. In particular I look forward to hearing their ideas about strengthening the balance we treasure so much in our three branches solution to non-partisan problem solving.

I've been so proud to see us setting an example for the world : No one is above the law, and all who break the law will pay the price. Similarly our great culture of being the world's melting pot where all who want to work hard for the American dream are welcome, regardless of color or religion. Also our rejection of tyranny and commitment that all presidential power comes only from the will of the governed.

Or..... you know...... We'll watch a total train wreck between a senile man-baby, and an out of touch creepy old guy. Yay!!!!

- Well f**k....
I dodged Covid for a long time. But I knew, sooner or later. We'll all get it sooner or later.
